Jordan Fatheree of Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek | Luxury Weddings in Dallas & WIPACon 2026
Jordan Fatheree is the Director of Sales and Events at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, the Dallas property where the entire Rosewood Hotels brand was born. He's also the Director of Programs for the WIPA National Board, one of the driving forces behind WIPACon, the first ever WIPA National Conference coming to Dallas August 9 through 11, 2026. Jordan is one of the most connected and respected people in the Dallas wedding industry, and this conversation is a long time coming.
In this episode of the Texas Wedding Podcast, Jordan walks through his full origin story: growing up in a small Texas town, stumbling across a meeting and event planning brochure at Austin Community College, opening hotels at eighteen years old, studying at UNLV's hotel school while interning at the Four Seasons on the Las Vegas Strip, and eventually landing at Rosewood Mansion through a chance encounter at a Rangers game. He talks about what makes the Mansion one of the most sought after wedding venues in Dallas, from its multi-generational legacy with families to the blank canvas of the Mansion Lawn where Texas wedding planners do some of their most creative work.
Jordan also shares the story of the miracle bride, a couple whose wedding almost didn't happen after a devastating accident just months before the date, and what it felt like to watch that celebration come together against all odds on the original wedding date.
Then the conversation shifts to WIPA: how Jordan rose from VP to President of WIPA DFW, what he's learned from building the chapter alongside some of the most talented people in the Texas wedding industry, and why he believes WIPACon will be one of the most important events you can ever attend. Kevin also shares a sneak peek of his own breakout talk at WIPACon, Video 101 for Non-Videographers, and why he built it for the wedding pros who know they should be using video but don't know where to start.
